NTSE | NMMS | JSTS Notification for Exam Dates and Syllabus pattern

NTSE | NMMS | JSTS Notification for Exam Dates and Syllabus pattern. Welcome to jobspy.in, NTSE, NMMS, JSTS are the exams for the students studying in 7th to 10th. NTSE means National Talent Search Examination, NMMS means National Means cum Merit Scholarship, JSTS means Junior Science Talent Search. These are exams for the scholarships conducting by Directorate of Education. NTSE 2013-14 is the exam conducted by the Directorate of Education for the 10th class students studying in govt or authorized private schools there will be reservation for the candidates SC, ST and PH. For SC candidates there are 15% seats, for ST candidates there is 7.5% and for the PH there is one percent of reservation. NMMS is the exam for the candidates in 8th class studying in govt or authorized private schools. JSTS is the exam for the candidates in 9th class studying in govt or private authorized schools.

Required Eligibility:

  • NTSE: For general candidates must insure 60% marks in 9th class and for reserved candidates has to insure at least 55% marks in 2012-13.
  • NMMS: For general candidates must insure 55% marks in 7th class and for reserved candidates at least 50% marks in 2012-13. Income of the parents should not beyond INR 1,50,000 for any category of the candidates in 201-13.
  • JSTS: Candidates has to insure 65% marks in 8th class.
  • Candidates who have received NTSE scholarship from National Educational Research and Training (NCERT) for 8th class are not eligible.

Syllabus Pattern

NTSE Stage I exam:

  • Mental Ability Test
  • Scholastic Ability Test

JSTS: There are two papers

  • Paper 1 consists of 50 marks
  • Paper 2 consists of 150 marks
  • Duration of the exam 3.5 hours
  • Questions mainly from 7th and 8th syllabus as per govt schools.

NMMS:

  • Mental Ability Test contains 90 multiple choice questions in 90 minutes.
  • Scholastic Aptitude Test contains 90 multiple choice questions in 90 minutes.
  • Syllabus consists of 7th and 8th class in govt schools.
  • Subjects includes Social Science, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and General knowledge.

How to Apply:

Application Mode:

  • Log on to official website www.edudel.nic.in and download the application.
  • If there is any changes in caste category after the submission will not be changed.
  • Marks will be calculated according to the grading system.
  • Candidate has to attest caste/ PH certificate to the application form while submission.
  • Application has to be submitted to the science branch by the head of school duly attested by the HOS on working days between 10:30 am and 3:30 am.

Issue of Admit Cards/Hall Tickets for NTSE and NMMS: 07th Oct 2013 to 31st Oct 2013

Exam Date for NTSE: 17th Nov 2013

Exam Date for NMMS: 24th Nov 2013

Ending date for receipt of application forms for JSTS: 31st Oct 2013

Issue of Admit Cards/Hall Tickets for JSTS: 23rd Dec 2013 to 20th Jan 2014

Exam Date for JSTS: 02nd Feb 2014
