Job Summary:
The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and performing various accounting tasks to ensure the financial health and efficiency of our organization. This role requires a high level of accuracy, excellent organizational skills, and a strong understanding of accounting principles.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and examine financial records, ensuring records are accurate and in compliance with applicable regulations.
Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
Manage the general ledger, including journal entries and month-end/year-end close processes.
Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule.
Assist with tax audits and tax returns.
Ensure timely bank payments.
Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
Monitor and manage budgets.
Perform variance analyses and prepare account reconciliations.
Assist in the development and implementation of new accounting systems and processes.
Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred.
2+ years of accounting experience.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards.
